Akuapem Poloo was heavily criticised on social media for posing naked in front of her son.

The actress’ son turned 7 on June 30, and she took to social media to wish him a happy birthday with a photo which shows her naked in front of her son. According to Akuapem Poloo, she decided to go naked to prove to her son that she gave birth to him in the same state and that if he should see her naked, lying somewhere, he should not pass by but rather see her as his mom who brought him to life.

She is being tried in court for the photo she posted. According to Child Rights International, the post of Akuapem Poloo “undermines the privacy or is likely to detract the dignity of the [7-year-old] boy.”
