Budding Ghanaian Artist Kweku Lee has decided to give Mr. Eazi the royalties he received from using Mr. Eazi’s “Miss You Bad”.
Kweku Lee according to his Twitter post made $19 dollars from the cover, approximately GH₵110. 95 with the current dollar conversion.
In 2019, Kweku Lee made a cover of “Mr. Eazi’s Miss You Bad ft. Burna Boy.”
“These numbers reflect the most recent royalty reports sent by streaming services. Streaming services usually send these reports on a 2-3 month delay,” the picture posted by Kweku Lee read.
The post however didn’t state which streaming service the royalties came from.
Taking to Twitter to announce the decision, Kweku Lee wrote, “So I made $19 from “Miss You Bad” cover, the money small but i have to send it to @mreazi ideally it’s not mine to have.”
