Ghanaian singer, songwriter and producer, M3nsa has started a crowdfunding campaign to sponsor his latest solo project.
The musician, who co-founded F.O.K.N Bois with Wanlov, is working on solo project almost 10 years after he released his “No1 Mango Street” album.
According to him, he has an “album, a live EP, a documentary and a live show, and it’s ready to go, but the only way to do it is if I am in control of my own narrative as a Ghanaian, British, Black musician and producer.”
If you know M3NSA then you know he loves to go where his creativity takes him and he does not limit himself to conform to any notion of what is supposed to be “normal”.
In an effort to ensure his creative independence on his next project, he has turned down offers that sought to limit what he can do.
As a result, M3NSA wants to fund the distribution of his next project.
However, he needs financial support to be able to pull this off.
He has started a Kickstarter campaign to raise GHS 160K ($26,980)
As at the time of filing thing report, 45 people have contributed GHS 32,077 ($5,475) to the campaign.
