Sarkodie has received raving reviews for his organization and performance of the 2020 Rapperholic Concert.
The Rapperholic concert is the rappers annual Christmas night concert for his fans and everybody who wants to have a good time.
Sarkodie was not the only musician who gave amazing performances though.
He had an amazing line up that included King Promise, Joey B, Darko Vibes, Tulenkey and others.
However, it seems Sarkodie wanted Shatta Wale on the stage as well.
Talks broke down when the dancehall musician refused to reduce his performance rate for Sarkodie.
Sarkodie revealed in a tweet that Shatta Wale did not perform at the 2020 Rapperholic concert because he was charging GHS 1.4 million ($250,000).
According to the rapper, Shatta Wale did not agree to take anything below that figure.
As it is common with Ghanaian musicians showing at one another’s concert, Sarkodie promised to return Shatta Wale the favour.
Just months ago, the Shatta Wale did show up to perform with Sarkodie at his Black Love virtual concert.
Rapperholic 2020 was a huge success and Sarkodie should be proud.
