The UENR Forensic Society President, Mr. Raphael Opoku who doubles as the President of the Renewable En
ergy Engineering Students Association has on the 28th November, 2020 emerged winner of this year’s GHANA’s YOUTH President initiative under the auspices of the Youth Leadership Parliament.
Mr Raphael presented a paper of Ghana’s fiscal and monetary standing, the repurcussions and shielding effect to salvage the economy from sinking into waters.
At the Dinner and awards night held at the University of Professional Studies, Accra, the paper was recognized by the judges, viewers and his colleagues and was subsequently given the Millennium Youth Impact awards, together with other nine youth Ministers and public figures who have had a reputation of youth development in their respective offices like the late former General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party(NPP) popularly known as ‘Sir John’.
The young and vibrant young man who hails from Techiman, and running on the ticket of the Yaa Asantewaa Cabinet is very optimistic that, Ghana can be independently sustainable if our financial systems are being strengthened to function without any intrusion therein.
“Ghana is one of the best place to trade in Africa, in harmonising our institutions we can clear our debts and properly build our financials independently,” he said
