This year, afrobeats slack small here in GH. Don’t say “Ei”. Y’all know Nigerian music took over our airwaves (As usual) just that this time, there were barely enough GH hits hits to catch up.

This is our Top 10 list of the baddest afrobeats songs. The best out of the lot that still managed to maintain their “hit song” status for quite some time.

For the year 2020, here are our Top 10 bangers.

Kidi – Say Cheese

Despite what people like to say about the song being tiring, y’all need to really listen cos this song is such a banger!

Keche ft Kuami Eugene – No Dulling

Kuami Eugene really made this song what it is. Such a fire chorus! personally, I only remember Kuami Eugene doing his thing and that’s it. A proper December jam.

Strongman ft Kelvynboy – Pilolo

One of the best collaborations I’ve seen this year. We all know Kelvynboy is an amazing hook maker and on this song, he was that extra special flavour that made it a complete banger.

Mr Eazi & King Promise – Baby I’m Jealous

Ugh King Promise…that’s all I have to say. King. Promise.

King Promise – Sisa

King Promise really is one of the few who can drop a banger and still be smooth with it. “Sisa” is perfect from production, lyrics…everything.

Kwesi Arthur – Baajo

I know this song was just released but c’mon, we aren’t going to pretend it doesn’t deserve this list. Such a delicious song!

Kelvynboy – Mata

Kelvynboy’s Mata was off his recent Blackstar album. We would have put even more songs from him on this list but…we gotta give way for others.

Darkovibes ft King Promise – Inna Song

Arguably Darkovibes’ biggest song of the year. If anyone makes a Top 10 list and this song isn’t on…it’s a fake one.

Stonebwoy – Everlasting

The video may not have been the right fit but…I still love the song regardless and think it’s the best out of his hit afrobeats songs this year.
