Cases of COVID-19 is increasing in the country.
This comes as many Ghanaians have almost neglected all the safety protocols that have been put in place to curb the spread of the virus.
There are currently 1,011 active COVID-19 cases in the country.
According to the Ghana Health Service, they have recorded 116 new cases of the virus.
Exactly a week ago, Ghanaians took to the streets to jubilate after President Akufo-Addo was announced as the winner of the 2020 general elections.
Furthermore, the safety protocols including wearing face masks, washing hands regularly, ensuring social distancing among others appear to be ignored by some sections of the population.
327 people have died from the virus in Ghana.
Stay safe, especially during the Christmas festivities.
