Citizens in the United Kingdom and the United States of America are already taking the COVID-19 developed Pfizer.
Though the vaccine has been hailed as a key weapon to fight the COVID-19 pandemic, it is facing the same fate as the other vaccines we currently have.
There are people who campaign against taking vaccines.
They believe vaccines make children autistic and there is a deep state plan to make poor people sterile – all of these are conspiracy theories with no scientific evidence ti establish them.
The new COVID-19 vaccine has come to carry the baggage of the other vaccines that have come before it.
More so, it was revealed that the CEO of Pfizer, the company that developed the vaccine countries such as America, UK, Saudi Arabia, Canada and others are using has not taken the vaccine yet.
According to Albert Bourla, he hasn’t taken the vaccine yet because he doesn’t want to cut the line.
Countries have developed a plan in distributing the vaccine, with older people who are 65 and above getting priorty, healthcare workers, people living with pre existing conditions also have priority.
However, this is adding fuel to those floating conspiracy theories urging others not to take the vaccine.
Ghana’s COVID-19 cases is also on the rise again with 978 active cases.
327 people have also lost their lives to COVID-19 in Ghana.
