Active Coronavirus cases in Ghana is still rising as there seem to be a general disregard for adhering to the COVID-19 safety protocols.

Ghana currently has 978 active COVID-19 cases, just shy of 1,000 cases.

Many Ghanaians were expecting some form of tightening restrictions after the general elections, however, it seems caution has been thrown to the wind.

Even organizers have started announcing their line up of events for this December and everything is pointing to a merry-making period this Christmas.

However, western countries such as the United Kingdom, that have now started administering COVID-19 vaccines to its citizens have chosen to announce restrictions that will be observed during the Christmas holidays.
