It appears the situation with Nigerian musicians Omah Lay and Tems has taken a turn for the worse following a new set of tweets shared by the former on his social media page.
The Nigerian singer recently took to his official page on Twitter saying that he and singer, Tems have been placed in handcuffs.
Meanwhile, in a different tweet sighted on the official Twitter page of the Ugandan Police Force, it was announced that the Nigerian singers have been charged to court for negligently getting involved in acts that could spread infectious diseases. It was disclosed that plans to have them released have been suspended. They are to remain in custody until Wednesday, December 16.
“The earlier plans of releasing them on police bond, were suspended after their casefile was sanctioned by the Office of the DPP. They were jointly charged with four other Ugandans. All remanded till Wednesday 16.12.2020.”
