Jean Mensah, the Chairperson of the Electoral Commission and Returning Officer of the 2020 presidential election, on Wednesday, December 9, 2020, declared Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo as President-elect of Ghana.
She made the declaration after announcing the results of 274 out of 275 constituencies in the country. The results excluded that of the Techiman South constituency. This is because the results from the constituency are being contested by the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
