More than 24 hours since counting of votes cast during the 2020 General Election, the Electoral Commission has not announced certified presidential results.
The key political parties – NDC and NPP – have claimed victory in both the presidential and parliamentary contests.
That has only added to the growing uncertainty surrounding the elections.
The pockets of violence at various polling stations and collation centers have added to building of some level of tension.

While applying a facial cream, Shatta Wale went live on Facebook to interact with his fans.
He even asked why the politicians brandishing guns and even firing them are not being locked up.
He brought up the 2019 incident at the Vodafone Ghana music awards where Stonebwoy reportedly brought out a gun causing chaotic scences during the programme.
Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy were locked up for a while and prosecuted by the state.
However, when politicians have pulled out guns and allegedly fired some, they have gone virtually untouched.
