76-years-old President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has won the 2020 General Election.
He beat the opposition leader, the former President John Dramani Mahama and 10 other contenders to hold on to the presidency.
He won the election by obtaining 6,730,413 votes representing 51.595 per cent of the votes while John Mahama obtained 6,214,889 votes representing 47.366 per cent of the votes.
His win allows the president to consolidate his achivement in the last four years while charting a new path for the next four years.
This also denies the chance of Ghana from having its first female Vice President in the person of Prof Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang.
