Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has secured a second term as President of Ghana.
The Electoral Commissioner, Jean Mensa, who is also the Returning Officer of the 2020 presidential election, on December 9, 2020, delcared Mr Akufo-Addo as president-elect.
Nana Akufo-Addo, according to the Electoral Commission, obtained 6,730,413 votes representing 51.59% while John Dramani Mahama placed second, polling 6,214,889 which represents 47.36% of the total ballots cast.
The declaration on Nana Akufo-Addo as President-elect excited a lot of Ghanaians, and they took to social media to express their excitement.
