The New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) Shiela Bartels has been declared Member of Parliament-elect of the Ablekuma North constituency.
She defeated Winifred Ashley Mensah of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to clinch the parliamentary seat.
Ms Bartels polled 54,556 votes, while her main opponent polled 29,702.
