In a press conference held by the National Democratic Congress at midnight following the closing of polls in the 2020 general elections, the NDC is asking its sympathizers not to jubilate early.
Addressing the media and sympathizers, the Director of Elections of the NDC, Elvis Ankrah said the party has been able to flip a lot of parliamentary seats that had NPP incumbent parliamentarians.
He said the election is not just voting and a lot of things happening after the votes are cast form part of the election.
He said this is not the time to jubilate and sleep.
“It is time to safeguard the presidential win,” he said without providing any reliable data to confirm his claim.
