HUAWEI has announced that the much-anticipated Huawei Y8s is now available in Ghana. It is the latest addition to the HUAWEI Y series smartphones.
Packing a powerful 48MP AI Dual Camera System, the HUAWEI Y8s supports high-resolution photography as well as a Handheld Night Mode for low-light photography.
The phone also brings to the table a large display, stunning design and powerful all-day performance.
The highlight of the new HUAWEI Y8s is the dual-camera setup which includes a 48MP main camera and a 2MP Depth Camera. It also comes with improved low light photography, along with support for Handheld Night Mode with the help of AI for low light performance.
The camera setup also includes a Portrait Mode with smart 3D beautification solutions and a range of bokeh effects. The on-board Master AI can recognize more than 500 scenes across 21 categories and offers targeted optimizations for users to easily obtain frame-worthy photos. Meanwhile, the front-dual camera system with 8MP main camera and 2MP Depth camera offers real-time blurring effects and noise reduction for selfies taken even in low-light conditions.
The HUAWEI Y8s comes with a massive 6.5-inch HUAWEI Full View Display with a Full HD+ resolution of 2340×1080 for displaying all kinds of content with clear details and vivid colors.
The display also comes with an Eye Protection mode, certified by TUV Rheinland that filters out harmful blue light.
The HUAWEI Y8s also comes with a 3D curved arc design for a comfortable hold, while the rear fingerprint scanner can be used to unlock the device in as little as 0.35 seconds. Designed to be simple and elegant, the HUAWEI Y8s is available in two colours – Midnight Black and Emerald Green, with both variants featuring delicate nanotexture on the back to produce a special glare visual effect.
