Former President John Mahama, who is the Presidential Candidate for the NDC in the 2020 general election has said he has not conceded defeat in the election.
At a press conference, the former President said there have been attempts to steal the verdict of the people, by claiming that the use of military men to restore calm at collation centres was a grand scheme to steal the election.
He also claimed that the NDC has won 140 parliamentary seats which will make them the majority in parliament, though official Electoral Commission results have not placed a figure on that.
The press conference also comes as some other Presidential candidates such as Kofi Akpaloo and Dr. Henry Herbert Lartey have called President Akufo-Addo to concede defeat.
