Here’s Why Voters In Guan District Will Not Vote For A Parliamentary Candidate

December 7, is the day for the 2020 General Election.

For general elections, voters typically vote for a presidential candidate and a parliamentary candidate.

However, for voters in Buem constituency, they will not be voting for a parliamentary candidate.

According to the Electoral Commission, this is because of the creation of the Guan District Assembly which as also necessitated the creation of the Guan Constituency.

However, as the constituency has not been created yet, the voters they will not be choosing an MP yet.

If you are a voter in the Guan District, do not cause trouble if you are given only the presidential ballot paper.

There is no foul play.
