Asamoah Gyan is set to make his debut for Legon Cities FC against Medeama SC in the Ghana Premier League tonight.
The former Black Stars captain was unveiled as a Royal on November 1, 2020, and is expected to earn $1 million during his time with the club.
“My first game for my Club, Legon Cities FC. Let’s make Ghana football Great again… Great to be back in the Ghana Premier League,” the 35-year-old announced on Twitter.
Gyan missed the Legon Cities’ first two games of the season due to injury.
Legon Cities have had a poor start to the new season, drawing with Berekum Chelsea and losing to Accra Great Olympics.
The poor performances resulted in the sack of Bosnian, Goran Barjaktarevic, who has now been replaced by former Kotoko coach Bashir Hayford.
Legon Cities’ game against Medeama SC will played tonight at the Accra Sports Stadium at 6pm.
