Honestly, put ‘public’ in front of anything and you can make an introvert panic. Public speaking though, comes with it’s own special blend of fear and panic. No matter how intelligent you are, or how prepared you are to speak about something, when the spotlight hits things just started going wrong with your biology. Personally, I don’t know how effective picturing everybody naked is going to be for you, but you can try it and see how if it works.
Asking For Our Money Back
Your friend is broke and he/she asks you to pass them some cash. Sure, that’s fine. But it’s a loan, so you definitely want that back. However, when it gets to the time to ask for your money back, it begins to seem like the most uncomfortable conversation that could ever be had in the world. It’s your own money too. When you finally do bring it up and you get an excuse, asking a second time around feels even worse.

Whether it’s a creative project, or even something more academic/professional, getting feedback can be a jarring experience. Anything that someone says about your work can feel like a personal attack.
