With Ghana possibly in the beginning stages of a second wave of coronavirus infections, President Akufo-Addo is expected to address the country.
For a couple of weeks now, the number of COVID-19 infections has been rising with every new update by the Ghana Health Service.
Currently, the country has 973 confirmed active cases of the virus.
This evening the President will be expected to announce new measures to fight the increasing cases infections.
It seems the wearing of masks directive is being largely ignored and social distancing rules are also out of the window.
A number of European countries, such as Britain and France have gone back into lockdown as they experienced a second wave of infections.
