
In his 19th address on government’s measures taken to fight the spread of COVID-19, President Akufo-Addo has urged Ghanaians to continue practicing the COVID-19 safety protocols.
The President’s address comes when the current active COVID-19 cases stands at 1,156 cases.
Increasing COVID-19 cases in the country has all the markings about a second wave.
In the President’s speech, he asked Ghanaians to ensure that mask wearing and hygiene protocols to be central in our lives.
He said there are sanctions to punish those who want to break the protocols.
He further emphasized that Ghanaians should be more disciplined to wear masks and adhere to social distancing measures.
