Jordan Ayew Scores As Crystal Palace Beat Leeds United

Jordan Ayew scored got his name on the score sheet as Crystal Palace recorded an emphatic 4-1 win over Leeds United.

It was his first goal of the season after he had a poor start to the new Premier League season and also contracting COVID-19 after representing Ghana in international friendlies against Mali and Qatar in October.

Scott Dann opened the scoring for Crystal Palace after heading in Eze’s corner in the 12th minute.

Eze later got a goal for himself by curling in a free-kick into the top corner of the Leeds goal post.

Leeds striker Patrick Bamford pulled one back after he was earlier denied an equaliser by the Video Assistant Referee for an offside.

Palace later extended their lead courtesy an own goal conceded by Helder Costa conceded as he was attempting to block Patrick van Aanholt’s cross from the left.

Jordan Agyew, later in the 70th minute, slotted in a pass from Wilfried Zaha, to seal the win for Crystal Palace.
