On November 6, the December issue of the British Vogue, one of the more popular magazines in the world, will be going on sale.

On its cover, is the American pop star, Beyonce.

As the cover girl for the British Vogue, Beyonce granted an interview to the Editor-In-Chief of the magazine, Edward Enninful.

In that interview, Edward brought up the Black is King visual album and as a Ghanaian, he was excited about the work that project African artists.

“Being of Ghanaian heritage, I was of course excited to see your work celebrating African culture so thoughtfully and passionately. As an African American, how do you see yourself and your work in relation to the global black community?” Edward asked.

“Shout out to Ghana! We shot there for the “Already” video. We worked with Shatta Wale and the choreographer Dancegod Lloyd. I am doing what my family has always done in celebrating and uplifting the black community,” Beyonce said before talking about her work with BeyGood and the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP).

The fact that Beyonce mentioned Shatta Wale and Dancegold Lloyd in the interview that shows the pop stars continuous support of the two talents she worked with.
