As a young footballer with lots of dreams, Asamoah Gyan made his big break into the Ghana Premier League when he was signed by Liberty Professionals.
He was a young lad who had not even completed his Senior High School education at Accra Academy SHS.
However, the talented footballer who was quickly referred to as the Baby Jet won lots of hearts and admiration both at home and abroad.
He got called up to the Black Stars, eventually becoming its captain all the while moving from one international club to the other.
Now, he is back to where it all begun for Asamoah Gyan.
Though we reported last week that Asamoah Gyan has signed a four-year million dollar deal with Legon Cities, the club did not formally announce it until this morning.
This makes his return to the Ghana Premier League an event that is set in stone.
With years of experience playing at the highest level of football, many will be eager to see what he will be contributing to the league and his new club when he gets onto the field of play.
