How Arsenal Fans Reacted To Thomas Partey’s First Premier League Start

Arsenal's Thomas Partey a Premier League game against Leicester City

Thomas Partey made his full debut for Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium against Leicester City in the Premier League.

Partey made Arteta’s starting lineup after his impressive show for the team against Rapid Vienna in the UEFA Europa League, for which he was voted Man of the Match by Arsenal fans.

Ahead of the game against Leicester City, many Arsenal fans expected another midfield masterclass from him, but that did not happen.

Arsenal lost 1-0 to Leicester City, courtesy an 80th minute goal from substitute Jamie Vardy.

According to Squakwa Football, Partey was dribbled past more times than any other player on the pitch in the first half of the game.

He also recorded no shots, attempted no interceptions, and made no tackles in the first half. However, he had a 96% passing accuracy, recovered the ball once and created one chance.

Even though Thomas Partey was not at his best for Arsenal on Sunday against Leicester City, some Arsenal fans felt he did very well.

Fan of other teams also took the opportunity to troll the 27-year-old midfielder.
