Asamoah Gyan is making a return to the Ghana Premier League.
He has reportedly signed a four-year deal with Legon Cities FC.
Before he signed with the Accra-based football club, Asamoah Gyan was linked to Kotoko.
However, their inability to meet his asking price gave Legon Cities a chance to make Asamoah Gyan an offer, which he has accepted.
He will reportedly earn $250,000 every year totaling $1 million (GHS 5,830,000) for the entire duration of the contract.
However, money wasn’t all that Asamoah Gyan was after, signing him was also based on the condition that Mathew Anim Cudjoe, will also be signed which Legon Cities also accepted.
We can’t wait to see what he will bring to the GPL after making his professional football start in the same league in the early 2000s.
