As if all the doom and gloom 2020 has provided is not enough, award-winning Gospel musician Celestine Donkor and her family have to deal with robbers breaking into their home in the middle of the night.
The 2020 VGMA Female Vocalist of the Year said robbers broke into her home while she was asleep with her husband and children.
The incident allegedly took place between midnight and 2 am this dawn.
In a Facebook post, the gospel musician said the thieves entered their home through their balcony and managed to steal the phones and cash in her bedroom and locked them inside.
After taking what they wanted from their room, the thieves went to her children’s room where she heard one of them make a sound.
Celestine said her daughter claims to have seen “a man dressed in all black with flash light in his mouth, the next thing she suddenly felt drowsy and knocked off.”
“They took all our phones (3 phones: My Samsung s9+, my machine is gone, iPhones, 2 laptops, a tablet and made away with all cash we got at home, we found the bags and stuffs they searched outside,” she added though she did not specify how much cash was stolen.
She said she and her husband had to break their bedroom door to be able to leave their room.
She is asking for help to retrieve the stolen devices which she says has photos of her on it.
Besides the daughter that was reportedly knocked off, nobody was hurt.
