Akua Donkor And 11 Others To Appear On Presidential Ballot For 2020 Election

We are a few weeks away from the 2020 General Election on December 7.

Today, the Electoral Commission announced the Presidential hopefuls who would be appearing on the ballot paper come election day.

Politicians who hoped to run for office filed their nomination forms at the EC where they paid GHS 100,000 as filing fees.

Among those who filed to contest the office of President were President Akufo-Addo, former President John Mahama, Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings and others.

Today, after vetting their nominations, the EC has announced 12 names that would appear on the ballot paper.

The candidates for the 2020 Presidential Election Alfred Walker, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, Christian Kwabena Andrews, Bridgette Dzobegnuku and John Dramani Mahama.

Others are Akua Donkor, Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings, Hassan Ayariga, Ivor Greenstreet, Henry Herbert Lartey, Kofi Akpaloo and David Apesera.

However, 5 other aspirants were disqualified from the election. They are Kofi Koranteng, Marricke Kofi Gane, Akwasi Odike, Kwesi Busumburu and Agyenim Boateng.
