Over the weekend, Ghanaian actor Aaron Adatsi went viral after the news of the christening of his son broke.

As a new father, this was a magical moment he shared with his fiancé Eyram on the birth of their son.

However, the reaction to the news of his son’s birth has “robbed me of the precious opportunity to formally outdoor my blessing to the world at my own convenience.”

Aaron who acted in the YOLO series became the Ambassador for Adolescent Sexual Reproductive Health (ASRH) which preached abstinence.

Many critised and even trolled Aaron that he did not practice what he preached given that he gave birth out of wedlock.

Now, he is responding to the criticism saying that he understands that in “some of my professional engagement I have come to represent many morally upright things to the masses.”

“In all humility, I refuse to hoist the flag of hypocrisy as a substitute to taking responsibility of the choice I made,” he said.

“I am now better equipped as I could ever be with first-hand experience to continue leading my unofficial capacity as an ASRH ambassador,” he added.

Time to give Aaron a break?
