5 Things To Do To Start Your Week Right

We all know that Mondays are the worst especially because nobody really finishes their enjoyment or relaxation over the weekend. Plus, the weekend is too short! 5 days of slaving away for money and only 2 days to reconnect with friends, to relax and to rejuvenate yourself before the next week.

Despite this, you could be smiling to work on Mondays if you prepare for it. You don’t have to have Monday blues. Just heed our pointers.

1. You need to prepare on Friday

If you want to smile on Monday, you’ll have to do the work on Friday. On Friday make sure you’re done with everything expected of you so that there will be no unfinished business on Monday. Also, make a Monday to-do list on Friday so you know what you’re about on Monday and you don’t miss out on anything.

2. Follow a constant sleep schedule

You need to be sleeping at a particular time for a constant number of hours because sleeping in during the weekend will not pay for the sleep deprivation during the week. You shouldn’t also sleep late over the weekend because it will make you even more tired.

3. Workout

If you haven’t bothered with working out, you should try it. It may be the key to making everything feel better when going to work, no matter the day. Working out can release happy endorphins to get you in a good mood. You don’t necessarily have to go to the gym. You can stay at home and do it.

4. Don’t skip breakfast

Contrary to what a lot of people believe, you don’t have to eat immediately after you wake up and you’re going to work. You can decide to wait until you’re actually hungry (but still in the morning) before eating.

5. Dress up

I find that planning what I want to wear for work helps me actually look forward to it (I have no idea why) and this might help you too. Choose outfits that you know will make you feel good maybe because of the colours or the style or something. Just make sure you feel good.
