Yesterday the End SARS protest in Nigeria got a very big boost.
That’s because the co-founder and CEO of Twitter, Jack Dorsey, joined the protest and used his own Twitter profile to promote the End SARS protest.
He tweeted resources to help raise funds for protestors.
However, not all Nigerians were happy about his support for End SARS.
A Nigerian politician, Adamu Garba had an entire thread telling him to not interfere in Nigerian political issues.
At some point he said most of the initial demands of the End SARS protests have been addressed by “responsible authorities.”
However, people were not here for Adamu Garba calling out Jack for supporting the protest.
Especially when a lot of effort has gone into making sure that the protests trends and gains the attention worldwide as a means of shaming the Nigerian politicians to act on the demands of the protestors.
Davido was among the people basically telling the Nigerian politician to shut the F up.
Nigerian politicians really have no clue what is happening!
