The NBA and its followers are celebrating the Los Angeles Lakers for winning their 17th NBA Championship.

The Lakers beat the Miami Heat 106-93 in Game 6 of the NBA Finals to lift their first NBA title since 2010.

NBA fans all over the world have been on Twitter all morning congratulating the franchise and the players for clinching another NBA Championship.

Some of the players including the Finals MVP LeBron James and Anthony Davis have said that they won the Championship for Lakers legend Kobe Bryant, who died in a helicopter crash in January 2020 alongside his daughter Gianna and seven other people.

Google is also celebrating the Lakers for their NBA Finals triumph… When you google “Los Angeles Lakers”, you see animated fireworks in the Lakers colours (gold and purple) popping up on your screen.

You will also see a similar thing when you google “NBA”.
