Last Thursday, the Presbyterian Boys’ Legon Senior High School extended their lead as the most successful school in the history of the National Science and Maths Quiz.
They won their 6th trophy from the competition which has been widely celebrated by many.
Even the President fell to the charm by immediately extending an invitation to the winning team.
However, even the trophy they have was not enough to serve as a permanent reminder of their success.
Aboagye Baafi, one of the old students of PRESEC, who are styled “Ɔdadeɛ” an old tradition of the school, made sure that there was a permanent reminder of their historic win.
Ɔdadeɛ means “Baobab Tree” in English.
He donated a fabricated signage that reads “Six Is Here” and lights up at night for all to see.
Though he was not in the science department while studying at PRESEC, Ɔdadeɛ Aboagye Baafi hoped that his donation would also motivate the students in the Visual Arts department of the school.
