Food blogger Zubaidah and Entertainment blogger Ameyaw Debrah, today participated in a competition dubbed Taste Relay, which required the two bloggers to make orders on the Jumia Food App and wait to see which one of them will get their food first.
They were both in East Legon when they made their orders from Burger King at Accra Mall on the Jumia Food App.
Zubaida eventually got her food first and won the contest. She did a giveaway for her followers and Ameyaw Debrah also did a giveaway for his followers.
The aim of the Taste Relay contest was to show how fast and reliable the Jumia Food App is.
The Taste Relay contest is also part of the Jumia Food Festival Campaign which is ongoing and will end on 31st October.
Here’s how the contest between Zubaidah and Ameyaw Debrah went on:
About Jumia Food Festival Campaign
Jumia Food Festival Campaign started on October 1, 2020, and will end on October 31, 2020.
The campaign is organised in partnership with local restaurants and supermarkets.
The objective of the campaign is to promote the adoption of meal and food ordering among consumers, which have become increasingly popular in the last few years.
The campaign is also aimed at supporting restaurant businesses and the overall food ecosystem, as these have been severely affected by COVID-19 lockdown restrictions, resulting in less capacity, fewer opening hours and sometimes shutdowns.
As part of the festival, Jumia is also giving the users its Food App up to 50% discount on all your food orders.
All you have to do is download the Jumia Food App on from your Google Play Store and Apple App Store to enjoy the exciting discounts from Beverages to Burgers and exciting deals from your favourite food joint.
