1. You don’t have to start with too much
If you don’t have a proper camera or laptop to edit your stuff, it doesn’t matter. All you need to do is to pick up your phone and record. There are free editing apps you can download to edit what you want.
2. Find your unique selling point
You need to appeal to a particular audience and build your brand around it otherwise, no one would be able to associate you to anything.
3. Be Consistent
If you’re not consistent with the content you create, nobody will care anymore. Plus, if you’re posting your stuff on a platform like Instagram, the more regularly you post, the more they show your content to other people and the better your insights. Consistency is key.
4. Make time for everything
If you have a job and you’re doing content creation as a side gig, you would need to segment your time properly. Make time for everything so one thing doesn’t suffer.
5. Do it for the passion
If you’re in it for the money, you’ll be disappointed. You need to be passionate about what you’re doing and put your best foot forward. Once you’re doing it for you, you tend to create more and steadily keep getting better at it until finally, you get noticed by paying brands.
