Black Stars vice-captain Thomas Partey has modelled Ghana’s new home and away jerseys.
The Ghana Football Association (GFA) on October 5, 2020, unveiled the new kits for its national football teams for the 2020/21 international football season.
According to Puma (the kit designer), the new kits are “steeped in tradition and engineered for sport.”
“[The] graphics are inspired by Ghanaian culture, with a woven print depicting a bright and beautiful future. [The] materials are enhanced with PUMA dryCELL technology for moisture-wicking comfort and performance,” Puma explained on it website.
Thomas Partey posted photos of himself donning the new kits on Instagram.
We could see him in the jerseys, playing for Ghana soon, as it is expected that the Black Stars will outdoor the new kits when they face Mali and Qatar in international friendly games on October 9 and 12 respectively.
However, Partey is not the only who is excited about the new kits… Ghanaians are also very happy about the jerseys.
They took to Twitter to express their excitement over the new jerseys.
