The National Science and Maths Quiz has set up a thrilling semifinal encounter.
The semifinal is a mismatch of single sex schools, mixed schools, those considered NSMQ royalty and newly discovered NSMQ shooting stars.
Opoku Ware is going against Boa Amponsem and Accra Academy, while Achimota is going against Keta and Adisadel. Presbyterian Boys’ Legon, on the other hand, will face Aburi Presby and Kumasi Academy.
Opoku Ware is a previous NSMQ champion with two trophies the same as Achimota.
Adisadel has won the NSMQ once, while Presec has won it 5 times.
Meanwhile, 5 of the schools in the semi finals, Boa Amponsem, Accra Academy, Keta, Kumasi Academy and Aburi Presby, have never won it before.
