James Bond 'No Time to Die' Movie Gets New Release Date

Just days after Billie Eilish released the music video for her soundtrack to the movie, No Time to Die, the film has seen its release date pushed back once again.

The film, the latest installment of the James Bond franchise, had originally been due to release in April 2020, but was eventually pushed back until November 12 in the U.K. and November 20 around the world.

The new announcement sees its release date delayed yet again, with Daniel Craig‘s last outing in the role now set to hit theaters on April 2, 2021, almost exactly a year after it was initially due to launch.

In a statement announcing the news, MGM added that the decision was made so that the film could “be seen by a worldwide theatrical audience.”

Starring Daniel Craig as Bond, No Time to Die will also feature Rami Malek as “007’s most terrifying adversary yet.”

Additionally, Léa Seydoux, Ben Whishaw and Christoph Waltz all return for the film, while Lashana Lynch is introduced as a new “00” agent. The film is directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga.

While you wait for April 2, 2021 to roll around, refresh your memory of the most recent No Time to Die trailer.
