All The Times Ghanaian And Nigerian Artistes Gave Us Perfection On A Song

Nigeria is Ghana’s official sibling. Asaase Yaa probably playfully knocks Uche Naija’s head somewhere in the land of the ancestors which is why we have so much love for each other. We are a family.

Naija’s music scene is incredible and most of their music is also heavily influenced by GH music so it’s no shock that we always usually have our artistes and their artistes crossing borders to give us serious hits such as:

Kiss Your Hand – R2Bees ft Wande Coal

Honestly, both countries should agree to come together and make this the official Ghana Naija anthem because what a song!!!

Slow Down – R2Bees ft Wizkid

If there’s any song that can be called perfection, this is it! Ghanaians and Nigerians both name this in their Top 5 collabs of all time because this song is just too good! Effortlessly good.

Hosanna – Shatta Wale ft Burna Boy

This song has the type of energy that only two rebels can push into a song. It’s a good energy song and it’s interesting how you can barely tell the difference between the two artistes. It’s like a circle of good vibes.

The One – Efya ft Tiwa Savage

Efya and Tiwa Savage on this song was something I never even knew I needed. The vocals, the harmony…it’s eargasmic. Fun fact, the song actually samples an old R&B classic…3LW’s No More (Baby I’Ma Do Right).

Finish Line – Dee Money ft Paedae, Remenisce, Ice Prince, JTown, M.Anifest

If this isn’t the greatest hiphop song of all time!!! Dee Money’s remix to Finish Line came with two Nigerians on the remix…Reminisce and Ice Prince and I just want to say that anytime I think about this song, I remember Ice Prince’s verse.

Another Story – Burna Boy ft Manifest

I had to choose between this and Manifest’s Tomorrow featuring Burna. Both are amazing songs and the only conclusion I can come to is that Manifest and Burna together on a track is just soothing and amazing.

Skintight – Mr Eazi ft Efya

Mr Eazi has several features with a lot of Ghanaian artistes because we practically claim him as Ghanaian but this song is undoubtedly the best collaboration from him and any Ghanaian artiste. It’s a timeless hit!

Painkiller – Sarkodie ft Runtown

Finding the perfect Ghana Naija collab with Sarkodie was difficult but I settled on this because I enjoyed it much more than the others.

Sark fans don’t come for me please.

Early – Juls featuring Maleek Berry, Nonso Amadi

Juls is a UK-based Ghanaian producer who definitely makes the best music in all of GH. This song is one of my absolute faves. You can find no wrong on this and the features did justice to his beat.
