Kumasi Academy has taken down one of the biggest schools in the National Science and Maths Quiz history.
The students from Kumasi Academy led from the start leaving Mfantsipim School to play catch up the entire time.
It was clear from the start that if Mfantsipim School wanted to win, they would need to pull a huge one over Kumasi Academy.
From round 1, Kumasi Academy had a 9 point lead over Mfanstipim.
Then in Round 2 that points closed to 6.
However, the abysmal performance of Mfantsipim with the Problem of Day did not help them make their case. They secured 2 points while both St Marys SHS and Kumasi Academy secured 6 points.
In round four, the gap went back to 9 points difference.
However, while Mfantsipim maintained its 35 points, Kumasi Academy added more points to extend its lead by 18 points.
Oh…. Twitter is going to have a field day with this!
