Imagine playing a game of FIFA and hearing music from artistes you can connect with!

FIFA’s done good in making the music for their soundtracks more diverse and in announcing the official soundtracks for FIFA 21, they broke it into two: the chosen soundtracks for the overall game and a separate set of tracks for the VOLTA mode.

These are the songs you should expect, from African acts like Rema and Fireboy and Africans in the diaspora making us proud, when you finally start playing FIFA 21!

Fireboy DML – Scatter

The Nigerian artiste just broke into the industry sometime last year. He dropped a flawless album, Laughter, Tears and Goosebumps and one of the songs off that debut project, Scatter will be featured in FIFA 21.

Rema ft Rvssian – Beamer

Another young Nigerian artiste that has taken the music scene by storm, his song, Beamer featuring Jamaican artiste Rvssian will be featured in the FIFA 21 VOLTA mode.

Dave ft Burna Boy

Just because Burna Boy is a feature on this song from Nigerian-UK artiste, Dave, we just had to add it. Burna was on the chorus and has a verse as well on this song and it’d be interesting hearing the superstar’s voice in FIFA’s VOLTA mode.

Apart from Dave, who is a UK artiste born to Nigerian parents, these are the other overseas-based artistes we are claiming and celebrating as well for their FIFA 21 inclusion:

Onipa – Fire

I bet most of you didn’t know this but Onipa is a Ghanaian-European band based in the UK. Their music is a unique fusion of African music and electronics and their song, Fire, will be featured in the VOLTA mode of FIFA 21.

Yesss we have always claimed Stormzy and we will keep doing that! Our Ghanaian brother making us proud all the way in the UK will have his song, Pop Boy in the VOLTA mode as well.

Nnena – Work It Out

Nnena is a Nigerian Cleveland-based rapper. She proudly claims her Naija roots and refers to herself as a Nigerian Nightmare. Her song, Work It Out was listed as one of the soundtracks for FIFA 21’s VOLTA mode.

CLIPZ ft Ms Banks, Jaykae – Again

The london-based artiste, Ms Banks who was featured on this song by British DJ, Clipz is actually Nigerian (father) and Ugandan (Mother).

Kah-Lo – Exit Sign

Kah-Lo is a Nigerian singer-songwriter. She doesn’t have just one but two songs on the FIFA 21 soundtrack. Her own song, Exit Sign and Idris Elba’s song, Ballie which features her will both be in the VOLTA mode.

Little Simz – Offence

Little Simz is a UK-based rapper, born to Nigerian parents and is actually Yoruba. Her song, Offence will be on FIFA’s VOLTA mode as well.
