If you thought the preliminary session of the 2020 National Science and Maths Quiz was interesting, then buckle up for the 1/8th stage of the competition which starts today.
The best schools that progressed from the prelims are joining the other schools in good NSMQ standing in the 1/8th stage of the competition.
This means the big guns such as Wesley Girls’, Opoku Ware and Holy Child are now starting their 2020 NSMQ journey.
Today, there will be 7 different 1/8th stage NSMQ contests.
It will be interesting to see if Wey Gey Hey is able to thrash Tema Methodist and Sonrise – it’s the NSMQ which is no stranger to big upsets.
The same applies to the Opoku Ware v Agogo State College v Zabzugu and the Holy Child v Oti Boateng v Kintampo contests.
