A week ago, the University of Ghana released the new fees for the 2020/2021 Academic Year. The fees came with an increment which did not sit well with a lot of students.
This they shared on various social media platforms and called on some stakeholders to re look at the issue.
Now the SRC has released a communique assuring students that they are working on a way to ensure that their pleas are heard.
They, however, stated that this negotiation might be difficult because the increment in fees was as a result of an agreement that took place in parliament thus pointing out the increment didn’t come from school authorities.
They however pointed out they would try their best to ensure some compromise is made.
