A 29-year-old Ghanaian in the United States of America, Dennis Mensah has been arrested by police after he reportedly killed a friend.
The victim, 31-year-old Prince Asare is also a Ghanaian living in the United States of America.
When American police arrived at the scene, Prince was alive and he had suffered gunshot wounds.
“He was transported to Riverside Hospital in critical condition. He didn’t survive his injuries and was pronounced deceased,” the American police said in a statement.
After the police launched an investigation into the incident, it was revealed that deceased and Dennis were involved in an argument over a motor vehicle accident that had occurred in a parking lot.
“During the argument, Dennis produced a handgun and shot Prince,” the police said.
The police also noted that Dennis remained at the scene after the shooting and surrendered to the responding officers.
This is the second recent shooting incident with Ghanaian involvement in America.
