Ghana Premier League Clubs Mourn The Death Of Six Juvenile Footballers

Six juvenile footballers of the Africa Vision Soccer Academy died in a fatal accident which occurred at Offinso in the Ashanti Region, on September 19, 2020.

According to reports, the team was returning from Afrancho to Offinso after undergoing colts division registration when the accident occurred.

The injured members of the team are currently receiving treatment at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital after being transferred from St. Patrick Hospital at Offinso.

After news of the accident broke, some Ghana Premier League clubs took to social media to commiserate with the families of the footballers who were involved in the accident.

The Ministry of Youth and Sports, in a statement, assured that appropriate measures will be taken to avert future occurrences.
