The 2020 edition of the National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) has been holding a series of preliminary contests to progress winning schools to the next stage of the competition.
The contestants, of the Presbyterian Boys’ Legon, are also preparing for the schools that will make it out of the preliminary stage of the competition.
As they are preparing to kick off their own NSMQ journey, the contestants received a huge boost from a very proud and supporting former student or ‘Ɔdadeɛ’ as they are known.
The Speaker of Parliament, Aaron Michael Ocquaye who is a member of the 1955 year group gave the contestants two laptops and GHS 5,000 cash to support and motivate them.
The presentation was done on his behalf by his son Ɔdadeɛ Albert Ocquaye who is a member of the 1994 year group.
PRESEC is chasing their 6th NSMQ victory.
