John Boye Impresses Ghanaians With His Performance For Metz Against PSG

Black Stars defender John Boye put up an outstanding performance for his club, FC Metz, when they faced Ligue 1 Champions, Paris Saint-Germain, in a league game on Wednesday.

Boye, who is also the captain of Metz, was very resilient in defence as he worked hard to prevent the brilliant attackers of PSG from scoring.

The 33-year-old was arguably the best player in his team, but they lost 1-0 to PSG. PSG’s Julian Draxler scored in the 93rd minute to hand the Paris club their first win of the season.

John Boye played 90 minutes of the game, and made 28 touches, 8 clearances and 3 interceptions.

He also won 3 aerial duels, 1 ground duel and blocked 1 shot from his opponents.

French football news portal, Get French Football News, described John Boy’s performance as “monstrous” and “tremendous”.
