Tahiru Awudu: LaLiga Announces Striker’s Debut Goal For Fuenlabrada In Twi

Ghanaian striker, Tahiru Awudu scored on his debut for Spanish club CF Fuenlabrada against CD Lugo in the opening game of the 2020/21 LaLiga SmartBank (Segunda División) season.

The 20-year-old scored in the 64th minute of the game. His club went to win the game 2-0, as Auwudu’s teammate Randy Nteka scored the second goal in the 70th minute.

The official Facebook account of LaLiga announced Awudu’s goal, but the announcement was done is in a very unusual way… LaLiga announced Awudu’s debut goal for CF Fuenlabrada in Twi and Pidgin.

“Tahiru Awudu sh33 goal w) ni first match ma Club de Fútbol Fuenlabrada, a good start give the 20 year old in LaLiga Smartbank,” LaLiga’s Facebook account posted, with a photo of Awudu celebrating his goal.

This got a lot of Ghanaians excited, and they also indicated how proud they are of Tahiru Awudu:

Tahiru Awudu is a former player of Ghana Premier League side Medeama SC.

He moved from Medeama to Fútbol Alcobendas Sport in Spain in January 2020 on loan.

He later signed for CF Fuenlabrada in September 2020.
